THE CHAIR

Chris Moore, one of the men behind the hit HBO series, Project Greenlight, is back with a new show about filmmaking. This time, instead of giving first time directors a chance to live their dreams and make a movie, they put a little spin on it.

Imagine for a minute, if you had a script, and couldn't choose between a director and vision. Well, this show gives two filmmakers the same script and set them out to make their version on the movie. And both versions of the film will be released.

This is an amazing concept. I think this is how it should be for all Hollywood films. Because 90% of what Hollywood releases these days are total garbage, that if they had to make two versions of the same film, at the same time...I could see one of two things happening.

One: The audiences would at least have a 50/50 shot at getting something good.

or Two: The studios would realize that they are wasting money hand over fist, and maybe they should have been delivering the goods this entire time.

Just something to think about Hollywood.

Anywho...Check out The Chair, Saturday nights on Starz
